Recommended Books
This book, Mastering Mathematics: How to Be a Great Math Student, is an excellent book on how to study for a math course and achieve successful results. The book is a quick and easy read and is written by a statistics professor at a community college. He fills the book with practical tips that he has seen work for his own students. Most of the suggestions in this book can be found on the various web sites linked above in the Study Tips category. However, if you like having all of the information organized and easily accessible at your finger tips, the book may be a good idea for you. It's about $15. I believe the Cal Poly Bookstore sells the book as it is a required text in one of the teacher ed math courses.
